Pepo Huru, “Free Spirit”

Sailing aboard Pepo Huru, a traditional wooden dhow entirely hand-built by skilled local masters, is one of the most authentic experiences in Watamu. Set between the turquoise water of the Indian Ocean and the untouched beauty of Mida Creek, the journey blends comfort, privacy and understated elegance, spacious lounging areas, soft cushions and shaded decks, designed to slow time down.

“Pepo Huru” means Free Spirit, and it is a philosophy rather than a name: unhurried moments, connection with nature, and the freedom to simply enjoy the journey.
